Distribution of blankets and biscuits to 400 people on behalf of Newsmedia and Police News Plus

On behalf of the News Media Association of India and Police News Plus, on 07.01.2024 and 09.01.2024 at Valasaravakkam, Virugampakkam, TTK Radha Krishnan Road, and under Gemini Bridge and Tiruvallikeni Railway Stations, 400 blankets were given to destitute people, differently-abled individuals, sanitation workers, and homeless people lying on roadsides. Along with this, packets of biscuits and bottles of water were provided.

Mr. Mohammad Baraktullah, Law and Order Police Inspector, Valasaravakkam, attended the event as a special invitee and distributed blankets and biscuits to the poor and disabled people living on the roadside. The work of the Tamil Nadu Police is very essential. The security given to us by the police to celebrate our celebrated Pongal and Diwali festivals with safety and security with our families is commendable.

Valasaravakkam Law and Order Police Inspector Mr. Mohammad Barhatullah happily participated in the Police News Plus program and happily served food to the hungry.

On 7-1-2024, Monday night at Chennai Poontamalli bus stand and PWDs living in areas like Valasaravakkam, Virugampakkam, Vadapalani Bus Depot, Arumbakkam, Koyambedu Roundabout, etc., 300 blankets and 200 biscuits were distributed to benefit scavengers and poor people lying on the roadside without houses. Packets and water bottles were provided.

On 9-1-2024, TTK Radha Krishnan Road and under Gemini Bridge and Tiruvallikeni Railway Station in Chennai, bread packets and water bottles were provided to 100 people including old people, adults, children, women, and differently-abled people who were left homeless due to the rains.

The National President of the News Media Association of India and Chief Editor of Police News Plus, Mr. A. Charles, according to the arrangement, Social Service Wing, North Zone Media Secretary Mr. Mohammad Moosa and his team were coordinating.
